Terms of Service

This website presents our work and our services. It is not a shop: you cannot place an order, make a payment or enter into a contract through it. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance.

Images of furniture and interiors are illustrative. Because our pieces are handcrafted from natural materials, grain, colour and finish vary between items and will not match a photograph exactly.

All work is quoted individually, in writing, after we have understood the requirement and — where relevant — measured the space. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it and is subject to material availability at the time of confirmation.

An order is formed only when you accept a written quotation and pay the agreed advance. The quotation, together with any drawings and specifications attached to it, sets out what is being supplied.

Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees. Applicable taxes are shown on the quotation and invoice. Payment terms, including the advance and any staged payments, are set out in the quotation.

Where the scope changes after work has begun — a change of dimension, material or finish — we will confirm the revised cost and any effect on the schedule in writing before proceeding.

Delivery and completion dates are estimates given in good faith, based on the schedule at the time of confirmation. We will tell you in advance if a date is going to move.

We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, including material shortages, transport disruption, restricted site access, incomplete civil or electrical work, or acts of God.

All content on this website — text, photography, designs and the The Badhees name and marks — belongs to us or is used with permission, and may not be reproduced commercially without our written consent.

Designs and drawings we prepare for a project remain our intellectual property. You receive the right to have them executed by us for your space; they may not be passed to another contractor for execution without our agreement.

Information on this website is provided in good faith for general guidance and may change without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website.

Our liability in respect of goods and services we supply is as set out in the relevant quotation and in our warranty terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
